Thank you for your interest in our 2016 excursion to Peru with instructor Shary Bartlett and your host Mark Glavina. Please keep in mind that our itinerary and hotel arrangements may be subject to change without notice for circumstances beyond our control, although we make every effort to stay faithful to our outlined plan.
Travellers will be responsible for booking their international flights, travel and medical insurance, which are mandatory for travel with Phoenix Art Workshop and the Travellingbrush.com
A Can. $500 non-refundable deposit is due on registration and will guarantee you a place for our tour provided we meet our minimum registration; please see the payment schedule on this page as well as rules and regulations.
Our Peru adventure departs Vancouver (YVR) March 8, arriving in Lima in the evening. Please see the recommended flight itinerary (TBA). Guests are welcome to make other arrangements and meet us at the designated hotel for the start of our tour. We can arrange for a private car for your transfer from the airport to our hotel, which is included in the cost of the tour.
The benefit to participants making their own flight arrangements is the flexibility it provides for those travellers who wish to extend their tour, use travel points, or are joining us from destinations other than from Vancouver, our home base.

Arriving and departing Peru

Airport tax: An airport tax is charged for international departures, and should be included in your ticket ( passengers are responsible for any and all airport taxes, transfer taxes or related airport fees)
Inbound/Domestic Flights are all included with this package; however, passengers booking after October 31st may be subject to additional fees if the cost of local flights increase.
Our Tour includes: all standard hotel charges, all breakfasts, guided tours, airport and hotel transfers, and entrance fees as outlined in our itinerary. The tour also includes instruction and administration fees.
Our Tour Costs do not include: Visa fees, International Flights and related airport fees and taxes, flight or medical insurance, personal bills such as telephone, laundry, room service etc., expenses arising from delays, missed connections and lost tickets, passport fee, gratuities, or meals not indicated on our itinerary and any transportation not listed in our Itinerary.
Tour or activities indicated in our itinerary as ***optional are not included, but we will help co-ordinate these for those interested.
Canadians do not require a tourist visa to enter Peru. An entry stamp will be provided in the passport upon arrival at a Peruvian port of entry for up to 180 days, the length of which is determined by immigration officers. Although Canadians do not need a tourist visa to visit Peru, all travellers are given an Andean immigration card upon arrival. This card must be presented prior to departure from Peru. Failure to produce this document may result in delays until a replacement card is obtained. If your passport is lost or stolen, a new card and a new entry stamp on the replacement passport must be processed at the Direccion General de Migraciones y Naturalizacion.

All serious health issues must be disclosed on registration.
